Wilma Anders-Roy

Toledo, OH - Wilma L. Anders-Roy, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. A native of Alabama, she was a resident of Toledo for many years, where she was active in her church. She was the daughter of the late Major Floyd and Carrie Hand Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Edgar Anders; brothers: John and WJ Reynolds; and sisters: Effie Whitten, Opel Burnett, Lillian (Cleo) Acord, and an unnamed infant sister. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Roy; children: James (Jrene) Anders, Roger Anders, Teresa (Wayne) Coffey, Lisa Myers, and William Anders; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Odett Reynolds; sisters: Hester Bowley, Flois Clark, Willodean Wall, and Evon Williams; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
