Wanda Calloway

Asheville Wanda Jordan Calloway, 60, of 191 Druid Drive, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. Mrs. Calloway was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She was the daughter of the late Howard Wilson Jordan and Margaret Louise Roberts Jordan. She was the wife of the late Johnny Calloway. Surviving are her son, Jimmy Jordan of the home; granddaughter, Sierra Jordan of Asheville and several cousins, including Carroll Roberts of the home and Cathy Kelly of Jesup, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen V. Oxner officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Hill UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 AM Friday at the funeral home.
