Sheila Mcelrath Plemmons

Sheila McElrath Plemmons, 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Buncombe County, she was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her and was a selfless, beautiful person who will be greatly missed. She was the daughter of Nellie Carr McElrath and the late Kenneth Dale McElrath. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Benny McDonald Plemmons, Jr. of the home; daughter, Amanda Conner and husband Dewayne of Candler; brothers, John McElrath and wife Luuana of Clyde and Parker McElrath of Newland and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Glady Missionary Baptist Church, Pisgah Highway, Candler, with Rev. Steven Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and continued support.
