Ronnie Reese

Asheville Ronald Joe Ronnie Reese, 62, of Asheville went to be with his Lord that he loved on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he formerly had served as a Territorial Manager for United Service Group. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 9 years, loved to camp and was an avid fisherman. He was the son of the late Joe Branson Reese and Kessie Bryson Reese. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Patricia Ann Pat Smith Reese of the home; children, Ronald Kevin Reese (Tina) of Leicester, Tonya Lynn Reese of Candler and Travis Wayne Reese of Asheville; step son, Keith Allen Clark and wife Jeannie of Catawba; grandchildren, Megan, Tosha, Branson and Brandon; 3 step grandchildren; special aunts, Faye Parker and Helen Neubert and a host of loving cousins and extended family members. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Winebarger and Rev. Garry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Mike Rice, Darryl Chapman, Tommy Knighten, Aaron Pressley, Steve Overman and Walter Spivey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other times, the family will be at the residence.
