Robert Winfred Hoyle

Robert Winfred Hoyle, 81, of Weaverville, joined our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Emerald Ridge Rehab and Care Center. Robert was the son of the late George Robert and Maria Bingman Hoyle. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joseph; sister, Gladys; brothers: Dennis, Eugene, Earl, and Sammy. Robert retired from Chrysler Corporation after 24 years of service in Newark, DE. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Martha Black Hoyle; daughter, Rose Hoyle of Weaverville; son, Doug Hoyle and his wife Susan of Candler; sister, Sarah Hunter and her husband Bill of Panama City, FL; grandchildren: Chris, Tabitha, Michael, Laura, and Richie; great-grandchildren: Braedan, Nick, Kyree, Jayda, and Richie, Jr; and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Barry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 PM till 9 PM.
