Darleen Erickson

Darleen Erickson, born on March 19, 1952, in Asheville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 18, 2025, also in Asheville.

She worked as a technician for Singer Corporation, which later became part of Lockheed Martin, serving her community and the industry for many years.

Darleen is survived by her beloved husband, August Erickson; and her cherished children: Misty Gilliland and her husband Jason, along with Mark Everett Haney and his wife Dawn. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Brandon Roland and wife Tiffany, Britnee Roland, Brooklynn Roland, Colton Gilliland, Jessica Frisbee and husband Jeffrey, Sarah Haney, Casey Haney, and Samnatha Bonner; beloved great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Fisbee, Joanna Frisbee, Donnie Bonner, and Kai Izazard; and dear sisters, Katherine Carver and her husband David, and Terrie McDonald and her husband Bud. In addition, Pamela is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who were blessed to know her warm spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Carl Moyers and Melva Louise Bridges Moyers.

Darleen's legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family and friends will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her presence will be greatly missed but always cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
