Naples, FL - Marvin William Clark, 81, of Naples, FL, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Avow Hospice in Naples. A native of Swain County, Mr. Clark graduated from Lee Edwards High School in 1952. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. After he returned home, he attended Asheville-Buncombe College and moved to Georgia in 1956. He retired in 1996 from Johnson Controls, and moved to Florida in 1997. He was a son of the late Manuel and Edna Anthony Clark. Surviving are his brother, Alfred Clark and wife Ann of Churchill, TN; special friend, John King of Naples; and special cousin, Sherry Smith and husband Rollon of Bryson City. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Daryl Overton officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
