Luther "Luke" Robinson

Woodfin - Luther Luke Robinson, 77 of 15 McPhearson Street, died Thursday October 16, 2003 at V.A. Medical Center, Asheville. A life long resident of Buncombe County. He was a graduate of Old Farm School in Swannanoa, a W.W.II Navy Veteran and a member of VFW Post #891. He was a son of the late Herman and Bertha Gardner Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil and Bill Robinson. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Leslie Hoke Robinson of the home and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr. officiating. Entombment will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
