Lela Barbee Ligon Mrazek

Asheville - Lela Barbee Ligon Mrazek, 92, of 103 Summerglen Dr. died Monday, January 19, 2004 at Pisgah Manor. A native of Durham, NC, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and was a past Worthy Matron. She was an avid bowler. Mrs. Mrazek was the daughter of the late Ensley Donnie and Mary Matthews Barbee and was the wife of the late Milo Mrazek who died March 10, 2003. Surviving are her son, Fred W. Ligon, Jr. and wife Pearl of Leicester; granddaughters, Holly Marie Wilkes and husband Tom of Marion, NC, and Sharon Mae Stanley and husband Eugene of Leicester; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Thursday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
