Kirk Truesdale

Arden Kirk Lee Truesdale, 51, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Melbourne, FL, he had resided in Kershaw and Lancaster, SC before moving to Buncombe County in 2004. He was an avid, lifelong Washington Redskin fan, loved fishing and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Shirley Lee Truesdale. Surviving are his wife whom he married October 28, 2003, Shirley Renee Truesdale of the home; son, Dustin Truesdale of Lancaster, SC; daughter, Kayla Lynn Truesdale of the home; one granddaughter; several extended relatives, including his beloved uncle, C.W. Dub Miles of Kershaw, SC and special cousin, Melissa Edwards and her husband Doug of Charlotte and his cherished Shih-Tzu, Mia. Memorial services will be held 3 PM Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Rash and Rev. Donnie Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:50 PM Sunday at the church. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Asheville G.I. & Associates, Nurses and staff at Mission Hospital Ultra Sound Dept, CarePartners Hospice and staff at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center for their love and care given to Kirk over the many years.
