Francis "Frank" Elmer Masters

Frank Masters, 85, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at his home peacefully while sleeping.

Frank was born on July 7th, 1940, in Asheville and was the son of the late Jamie Loraine Allman Masters and Francis Elmer “F.E.” Masters. He was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Penny Beaver Masters.

Frank went to school in Buncombe County, including AB Tech where he studied electrical motors and wiring. He worked for M.B. Haynes and Haynes & Lunsford before starting a business of his own. He worked all across Western North Carolina in Buncombe, Haywood, and Swain Counties.

Frank loved The Lord and he served as a deacon at Liberty Baptist Church during the 1970’s.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia “Pat” Connor Masters; beloved son, Jeffery Masters; grand-daughter, Kristin Masters; two great-granddaughters, Kali and Mia; along with many extended family.

In recent years Frank developed Alzheimer’s disease. Pat kept him at their home and took great care of him.

A visitation and time of celebration for family and friends will be held at Anders-Rice Funeral Home on Friday, August 15th, 2025, from 4 until 6 PM.
