Frances Davis Rich

ASHEVILLE Frances Davis Rich, 94, of 380 Brevard Rd. passed away Friday, December 7, 2007. Mrs. Rich was a native of Jellico, TN and had resided in Asheville since 1921. She was a former waitress and the daughter of the late Francis Frank Smith Foster and Ellen Manerva Matlock Foster. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Manuel G. Davis who died in 1964 and Homer Lang Rich who died in 1990. Surviving are her step-daughters, Alida Fisher of Asheville and Bertha McHenry of Candler. Private Graveside Services will be held 10:30 AM Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. James Briggs officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.
