Dot Nichols

Waynesville Doris Velma Dot Anders Nichols, 87, of 142 Hyatt Street, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at The Homestead Hospice of Haywood County. Mrs. Nichols was a native of Buncombe County and a daughter of the late Zeb Pearson Anders and Jessie Pearl Brown Anders and wife of Ira William Nichols who died January 4, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Perry and brother, Wayne O. Anders. Surviving are her daughter, Donna Nichols Wood and husband Lonnie of Sylva; son, Michael Frank Nichols of Lunenburg, MA; son-in-law, Dr. Tayloe Perry of Miami, FL; daughter-in-law, D. Marie Johnson of Lunenburg, MA; grandchildren, Randy Perry, Cristy Perry, Nicole Wood, Ethan Brown and Larissa Nichols; sister, Betty Snelson of Leicester and her special companion, her dog Tiny. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Daryl Overton officiating.
