Diann Horton Bolick

Diann Horton Bolick, a devoted wife, mother, and accomplished professional, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Candler, North Carolina, at the age of 71. Born on March 26, 1954, in Murphy, North Carolina, she enjoyed a life filled with love, learning, and service to others.

Diann attained her Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee, a testament to her commitment to education and personal growth. Her professional journey saw her excel as the Chief Financial Officer at Community Care Partners, where her expertise and dedication made a significant impact. Between April 2011 and November 2021, Diann collaborated closely with her husband, Alan Eugene Bolick, at their practice, Bolick Associates PA CPAs. Together, they forged a successful partnership that lasted through their joint retirement. In their retirement, the couple cherished the opportunity to travel across the country, exploring new places for seven to eight weeks each year.

Diann’s love for her children was evident to all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alan Eugene Bolick, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, having tied the knot on December 15, 1970. She leaves behind her cherished children, Amanda Leigh Bolick and James Alan Bolick, along with 19 nieces and nephews and many extended family members who will carry her memory forward.

In addition to her immediate family, Diann is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Robert Horton and Lassie Elizabeth Nora Truelove Horton, as well as her siblings: Robert Horton, Ellen Hill, Carolyn Fox, Lucy Sigmon, Wanda Hoyle, Patsy Berry, Geraldene Turnbill, and Steve Horton.

The legacy of Diann Horton Bolick will be remembered with great affection and respect, as her influence reached far beyond her family, touching the lives of those in her community and beyond. Her contributions in both her personal and professional life will not be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home, located at 1428 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the same location.
