David Sprinkle

Asheville David Larry Sprinkle, II, 42, of 24 Martin Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe County and resident most of life, he had resided in Boston, MA for 12 years while working as an Accountant. Music was his love and he had served as Pianist at many churches here in the Asheville area. He was a 1989 graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School, a 1993 graduate of Mars Hill College with a B.S. Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Music and was a 1998 graduate of UNCA with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. David was a son of D. Larry Sprinkle and Sandra Elaine Sparks Sprinkle. Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Scott Sprinkle and wife Ericka of Clyde; nieces, Kennedy and Avery Sprinkle of Clyde; Uncle, David and wife Libby Sparks of Leicester; Aunt, Margaret Sprinkle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several cousins, including his special cousin, Karen Sprinkle of Kingsport, TN and numerous friends whose lives he had touched. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with his father, Rev. Larry Sprinkle and brother, Scott Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
