Crystal Coomer Glisson

Alexander-Crystal Dawn Coomer Glisson, 34 passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Crystal graduated from AB Technical College with a Paramedic Certificate and was previously employed with the Buncombe County Sheriffs Office. Crystal loved photography and flowers. She will always be remembered as a loving mother who adored her children, as well as a loving daughter, granddaughter, and aunt. She was the daughter of Garry and Cathy Caldwell Coomer. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her children: Chloe Buchanan and Caelin Glisson; brother, Darrick Coomer and wife Tiffany; nephew Hunter Coomer; maternal grandparents: Reuben and Beverly Caldwell; paternal grandparents: Berry Thomas and Elva Lee Coomer; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:30-9:00 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Baird and Rev. Dr. Allen Raines officiating.
