Charles Biddix

Marion Johnny Charles Biddix, 68, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at McDowell Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Marion Family Moose Lodge. He was one of four children born to the late Johnny T. and Margie Smith Biddix. He grew up in a joyful home filled with laughter and love where he and his young sisters learned to dance and sing. As the only boy, he was the "Apple of his Mother's Eye" and throughout his life he has remained the center of the Biddix family world. He will forever be remembered by his beloved companion and bestfriend, Ruby Spivey of Marion, NC who shared the last years of his life. "Daddy" will always be "Superman" to his children: Johnny Biddix of Hendersonville, Charles Biddix of Parrottsville, TN, Robert Biddix of Woodfin, Patricia Ann Biddix Revis of Asheville and Jason Biddix of Summerfield, FL. He will forever live in the hearts of his devoted sisters: Barbara Biddix Ford, Janie Biddix Morrow and Sally Biddix Moore. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Stephanie Biddix, Tristin Biddix, Justin Farmer, Cody Farmer as well as many loving nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
