Beadie Hamlin

Asheville – Beadie Constance Martin Hamlin, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at the Brian Center Health and Rehab. A native of Arcadia, SC she resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Fred Brian Martin and Lenorah Arcenia Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Hamlin; son, James Dale Hamlin; and sisters: Meatrice Rhodes, and Leslie McKean. Surviving are her daughter, Marlene Moore and husband Sam of Asheville; son, Fred Bryan Hamlin and wife Shirley of Asheville; grandchildren: John Vance and partner Jeff Jones, David Hamlin and wife Mandy, and Scarlett Moore and husband Drew Bowman; great-grandchildren: Stephan Hamlin, Christopher Hamlin, Lilly Hamlin, Ari Moore, and Bjorn Bowman; 1 great-great-grandson; brother-in-law, Bobby Rhodes of Woodfin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, December 9, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3401 Sweeten Creek Road, Arden, NC 28704, of which she was a member, with the Bishop Dale Curriden officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 till 11:45 AM Monday at the church.
