Andrew C. "Andy" Hatch

Fletcher - Andrew Andy Chesley Hatch, 58, of 316 Lower Brush Creek Road passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Brookside Rehabilitation and Care Center. He was a native of New York City, NY and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Andy was the son of the late Arnold Hatch and Jane Kirkpatrick Fortson and husband of the late Faye Yvonne Roy Hatch. Surviving are his many friends, including special friends and caregivers Carolyn Nesbitt and Becky McIntosh. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in the chapel of WNC State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors to be conducted by The Buncombe County Veterans Memorial Team. Friends will visit following services at the cemetery. Andy was well loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
