William "Bill" Bramlett

Asheville - William Lester Bill Bramlett, 92, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2010. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired from the U.S. Army and received the Bronze Star in WWII. He was a member of the Moose Club and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Bramlett. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Carter Bramlett of the home; step sons, Rev. Kevin Boone and wife April and Chris Mace and wife Shanna and step grandchildren, Brock, Bailey and Ansley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Boone officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park with military rites provided by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses.
