Vena Maria Helton Wyatt

Vena Maria Helton Wyatt, 56, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Gail Williams Helton of Emma, and the late Ernest Lennie Helton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wyatt. Vena was a house keeper for Mission Hospital for the past 13 years and attended West Asheville Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by her children: Sarah Elizebeth Joyner and Adam Eugene Wyatt both of Asheville; grandson, Jayden Michael Moore; brothers: Michael Johnathan West and wife Janice of Fletcher, Tracy Dean Helton of Canton, and Barry David Helton and wife Christina of Leicester; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial graveside services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Tony Hooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 till 2:45 PM on Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: CarePartners, John F.
