Trudie Mosby

Asheville Trudie Fae Mosby, 90, formerly of Lindale, TX, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Alba, TX, Mrs. Mosby was a much-loved mother and friend, a member of the Hide-A-Way Community Church, and was an avid golfer. She was often referred to as the Butterfly Lady by her close friends. Mrs. Mosby was the daughter of the late H.B. and Ollie Mae Lee, and was the wife of the late Matt Mosby. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Delbert Lee and Buford Lee. Surviving are her daughter: Pat Whitaker and husband Fred; step-daughters: Jane Cooper and husband Rollie Comstock, and Vicki Cooper and fianc Alan Einhorn; grandchildren: Mike Plummer and wife Anna, Matt Plummer and wife Lisa, and Sandra Rivera and husband Jesus; great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Michael III, Karissa, Hunter, Emma, Christopher, Jonathan, and Eloy; sister, Lola Mae Washburn and husband James; brother, Harold Lee and wife Beth; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the Family Life Center of Macedonia Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John F.
