Rachel Harless Stanton

Asheville Rachel Elaine Harless Stanton, 32, of 387 Fairview Road, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. A native of Russellville, AR, she had resided in Asheville for the past 6 years. She was of the Catholic Faith and had served on active duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom in the U.S. Marine Corp. Surviving are her husband, Jeremy Heath Stanton of the home; parents, Kenneth Ray Harless and Janis Ann Riedmueller Harless of Charlotte; sister, Amy Harless of Kansas City, MO; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Harless of Mooresville and the late, Hursel Harless; maternal grandparents, Louise Riedmueller of Morrilton, AR and the late, Emil Riedmueller; mother-in-law, Sibyl Ringsdorf and husband Ted of Pinehurst; father-in-law, Joe Stanton of Maxton; sister-in-law, Jessica McCann and husband James of Clarksville, TN and her three babies, Copper, Boose and Banjo. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Pethel officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the US Marine Corps. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home.
