Pauline Robison

Pauline M. Robison Candler - Pauline M. Robison, of 235 Pritchard Road, died Thursday May 2, 2002 at Pisgah Manor Health Care after a period of declining health. A native and life long resident of Buncombe County. She was retired from the U.S. Forest Service, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a member of Lovelace Sunday School Class and a leader of the Junior Memory Work Drill Team for many years. She was a daughter of the late James Wiley and Daisy Haynes Murray. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George, Hillard, Herschel, Carl, Ralph and Paul Murray; sisters, Grace Murray and Kaythryn Alexander. Surviving are her husband, Horace Roger Robison of the home; daughters, Linda Gail Willey and husband, Gary of Millville, Delaware and Janice Carole Welborn and husband George of Marietta, GA; son Roger David Robison and wife, Jan of Charlotte; sister, Ruth Smith of Asheville; grandchildren, Joshua and Kyle Willey, Lauren and Leigh Robison and Justin, Lawson and Connor Welborn and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin and Ms. Sue Barron officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials may be made to: Calvary Baptist Church New Building Fund, 531 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
