Patricia "Pat" Fisher

ASHEVILLE Patricia Blanche Davis Pat Fisher, 61, of 139 Hanover Street passed away Monday, December 14, 2009. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She had worked for 22 years at Tops for Shoes and 7 years at Discount Shoe and formerly attended Aaron Baptist Church. Mrs. Fisher was the daughter of Lottie Mae Forest Davis of Asheville and the late James Claude Davis and was the wife of the late Ray Douglas Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Davis. Surviving are her son, Doug Fisher & wife Linda of Candler; grandchildren, Christian, Jeremy & Nathan; great granddaughter, Braelyn; sister-in-law, Cathleen Brite and brother, Jimmy Davis & wife Ruby all of Canton. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses.
