Fletcher Nicholas Nick Demetrios Contoleon, 73, of 86 Old Airport Road went peacefully in the arms of his Lord Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native of Kythera, Greece. Mr. Contoleon has resided in the United States since the age of 16 and was a son of the late Demetri and Anna Kontoleon. He was a former owner & operator of several restaurants including Mediterranean and Leicester Family Restaurants in Asheville and was of the Greek Orthodox faith. Surviving are his wife, Loretta Allison Contoleon of Asheville; daughters, Donna Contoleon Spearman and husband, Jeff of Candler and Anna Contoleon of Arden; grandchildren, Brian E. Edwards of Kingsport, TN, Jason D. Edwards, Kera Ashley Spearman and Kylee Elizabeth Spearman all of Candler; great grand daughter, Megan Dawn Bruce of Candler; sister; Aspacia Kontoleon of Greece; brothers, Arthur Kontoleon of Brooklyn, NY, and Peter, Bobby And Kostas Kontoleon all of Greece. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
