Nancy Jean Loftin

Asheville - Nancy Jean Loftin 59, of 12 Hazelwood Street, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ellen Dora Arrington Towe. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jason Wilson. Surviving are her husband, Willie Loftin, of the home; three step children: Darlene Loftin and Ricky Loftin, both of Black Mountain, and Angela Baynard of Brevard; sister, Joan Allen of Asheville; brothers: Jimmy, Bobby, and Jerry Towe, all of Candler; 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norris Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Skyview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
