Mary Doris Nadal

Asheville - Mary Doris Nadal, 73, of 324 Old County Home Road, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center after a period of declining health. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County for the past 26 years. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and formerly employed with Thoms Rehabilitation Center for 12 1/2 years. She was a member of Erwin Hills Baptist Church. Ms. Nadal was the daughter of the late Isaac Thomas and Ina Genola Brigman. Surviving are her son, Steven Roger Wilkinson of Asheville; her daughter, Kim Elaine Denison of Knoxville, TN; and her sister, Ina Paris Moxley and her husband Paul. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jonathan Stewart and Jim Whitted officiating. Burial will be in the Gillis Family Cemetery in Mars Hill. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
