Margaret L. Gibson

Asheville - Margaret L. Gibson, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 7, 2007 at Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Josephine Jones and was also preceded in death by a brother, Everette Jones. A loving and compassionate lady, she loved her family dearly. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Bobby H. Gibson; children, Steve Gibson and wife Cindy, Theresa Davidson and husband Calvin and Mark Gibson all of Asheville; sisters, Eloise Jones of Arizona, Sue Jones - Nadleman of Utah, Paula Ann Rogers of Asheville, Eulagean Knight of Asheville and Lois Jones Wiles of Greenville; brothers, Billy Jones of Oregon and James Jones of Ohio; Granddaughter, Rhonda Davidson and grandsons, Matthew Davidson, Timothy Gibson and Blake Davidson and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Lanny Cobb, Rev. Don Burchette and Rev. Dr. Steve Harris officiating. Graveside services will follow at New Liberty Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter.
