Candler Linda Elizabeth Mimi Arrington Dezern, 67, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Portsmouth, VA, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1979. She was a very special and loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed deeply. Mrs. Dezern was a daughter of the late Lawrence Hugh Arrington and Mildred Elizabeth Day Arrington and wife of Jack Wendell Dezern who died May 16, 2009. She was also preceded in death by grandson, Michael Breedlove and great grandson, Kaleb Smith. Surviving are her daughter, Lori Breedlove and husband Willie and son, Lary Dezern all of Candler; grandchildren, Amanda Breedlove and Dakota Breedlove; great grandson, Jakoby Breedlove; sisters, Carol Williams of Asheville and Patricia Arrington of Newport News, VA; brother, Lawrence Arrington, Jr. of Greenville, SC and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 4PM Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. David Pittman officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home.
