Lilly Fain

Asheville - Lilly Mae Minters Fain, 87, died Friday April 29, 2011 at Asheville Health Care Center. A native of Virginia, she had lived in Asheville since 1988. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Purdy Minters and the wife of the late John Richard Fain. She was also preceded in death by 3 sons, George, Carl and James Fain and a daughter, Sarah Padgett. Surviving are her children, Anna Everett of Black Mt., David Fain of Asheville, Deloris Sorbilli of South Point, OH, Peggy Branstetter of Black Mt., Barbara Bowling of Tampa, FL and Marie Adkins of Leicester; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
