Juanita J. Robertson

Leicester - Juanita J. Robertson, 71, of Leicester, went home to be with her Lord, Friday October 22, 2004 after an extended illness. A native of Dillon, SC, she spent 25 years in Mississippi and the last 7 years in Asheville. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church. Mrs. Robertson was the daughter of the late William Fulton and Maybelle Hamilton Jones and the wife of Charles Curtis Robertson who died in 1990. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Lloyd Chuckie Robertson and Clifton Stephen Robertson. Surviving are her sons, Charles Robertson and wife Sandra of Asheville, Christopher Robertson and wife Cathy of Leicester and Freddie M. Robertson of Fletcher; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob Willis, Alf Miller and Willard Pruitt officiating. She will be buried beside her son Stephen in the Eddie McMahan Cemetery on Pensacola Road in Yancey County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
