Leicester - Harold Glenn Pud Reynolds, 74, of 459 Dix Creek #2, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals following a period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Harold retired from the US Postal Service and delivered for B&B Pharmacy. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Harold loved to travel to Florida to visit his family. He was the son of the late Harold Glenn and Nellie Solesby Reynolds. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Franklin Reynolds, of the home; daughters: Debbie Reynolds Holmes of Alabama, Vivian Constance of Asheville, and Angela Hollifield of Leicester; two grandchildren: Jennifer Green and Casey Hollifield; two sisters: Brenda Gosselin of Daytona Beach, FL and Barbara Case of Enka; brother, Jack Reynolds of Candler; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Pastor Allen Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, with military graveside rites conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
