Georgia Mcminn

Woodfin Georgia McMinn, 83 of Woodfin, went home to be with her Jesus, Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Waiting for her when she got to Heaven were her parents Carroll and Fleta Hyder Pegg and sisters Fay Cole, Ava Wells and Ruby Swann. She is survived by her loving sons, Bobby & wife, Karen, Don & wife, Patsy, Roger & wife, Geraldine all of Weaverville; sisters, Elizabeth Harkleroad, Helen Keene, Janice King and Sandra Robinson all of Weaverville; brothers, Raymond Pegg of Doyline, LA, Dock and Carroll Pegg of Weaverville and Arlee Pegg of Woodifn; 11 grandchildren; 41great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. The family would also like to recognize very special friends, Ann McAbee, Teresa McMinn and all of her friends at Ingles on Merrimon Avenue. Funeral services will be held 6 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Dodd and Rev. Tommy Crowe officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
