Evelyn Raines Duckworth

Evelyn R. Duckworth Asheville - Evelyn Raines Duckworth, 66, formerly of 100 Cheerio Lane died Friday, June 4, 2004 at Mission Hospitals. A native of Haywood County, she had resided in Buncombe County for over 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Garland R. and Bonnie Della Stepp Raines and was also preceded in death by her son, Alan R. Duckworth, her brothers, Philmore, Troy, Jack, W.C. & J.B. Raines. Surviving are her sister, Beatrice Dayton of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Cecil Fox officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is serving the family.
