Dwight Jackson

Hendersonville - Marvin Dwight Jackson, 39, of 225 Browning Ave. died Tuesday February 5, 2008. A native of Buncombe County, he resided in Henderson County most of his life and attended Cowboy Church. He was the son of Bobby D. and Becky Case of Horse Shoe. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Clifford Jackson, daughter, Amanda Nikhole Jackson, maternal grandparents, Thomas C. & Charlie Mae Collins. Surviving in addition to his parents are his former wife, Leah Jackson of Hendersonville; son, Steven T. Jackson of Hendersonville; paternal grandmother, Mildred Case of Asheville; aunts and uncles, Betty Rathburn of Asheville, Jean Melton of Enka, Diane and Roger Clark of Asheville, Hilda and Tom Chandler of Leicester and Eddie and Peggy Case of Pleasant Hill, SC and a number of cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Cowboy Church with Pastor Louis Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other time at the home of Bobby and Becky Case, 76 Wild Laurel Way, Horse Shoe.
