Dandridge, TN Deborah Williamson Rooney, 59, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. A native of Henderson County, Mrs. Rooney had resided in Dandridge since 2013. She was the Secretary/Treasurer for Time For You Handyman Service, Inc, a business she co-owned with her husband Robert. She had a love of gardening, growing flowers, and spending time on the lake with her family. Mrs. Rooney was very family-oriented, and adored her grandchildren. She also loved her five cats very much. She will be remembered as the best wife, mother, and Nana that anyone could ask for. Mrs. Rooney was the daughter of the late Carl Spicer and Frances Marshall Seay. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Virgil Marshall. Surviving are her husband, Robert John Rooney; children: Shawn Scarborough (Megan), Heather Williamson (Seth), and Krystal Williamson (Colby); step-children: Alex Rooney and Matthew Hoy; grandchildren: Tyler, Kaylie, Jacob, Adyn, Jade, Drew, and Addilyn; brothers: Michael Spicer (Phyllis), Phillip Spicer (Glenda), Ricky Marshall (Carolyn), and Randy Marshall (Jill); and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 9 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Pastor Scott Lewellen officiating.
