Dana Alan Rathburn

Fletcher - Dana Alan Rathburn, 46, of Howard Gap Rd. died Sunday, December 22, 2002 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. A native of Buncombe Co., he was the son of the late David Alfred and Ruby Lackey Rathburn. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Rathburn. Surviving are his son, Dana Alan Rathburn, Jr. of Raleigh; sister, Dianne R. Burchfield of Fairview; brother, Darrell Rathburn of Asheville; nieces, Cindy Beasley of Marshall and Crystal Hoots of Hendersonville; 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews; fiancee, Jackie Weigand of Cincinnati, OH. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1628 E. Morehead St., #200, Charlotte, NC 28207 or to Henderson County Hospice, 1825 Asheville Hwy., Hendersonville, NC 28791.
