Betty M. Biddix

Fletcher Betty Josephine Sales Marlowe Biddix, 83, of 336 Yellowstone Drive, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Gashes Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Biddix was a daughter of the late Hubert Allen Sales and Addie Josephine Moore Sales and wife of Floyd Adam Bud Biddix, Jr. who died June 8, 2008 and Ernest Marlowe, Jr. who died May 29, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Harold Roger Butch Biddix and sister, Brenda Sales Owenby. Surviving are her daughter, Shelia M. Biddix of Tryon; sisters, Frances Sales Milwood and husband Kenneth and Kathy Sales Presnell and husband Jim all of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Gashes Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
