Beryl Rose Smith Goddard

Big Sandy Mush - Beryl Rose Smith Goddard, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Ian, and their children, Judy Lee of California, Sheryl Webb and Kenny Welch, both of Georgia, Penny Sherlin of Asheville and Olaf Goddard of Weaverville. She was the grandmother of Michelle Williams, Cynthia Koons, Rebecca Webb, Kerstyn Webb, Christopher Lee, Bryan Lee, Daniel Sherlin, Christie Johnson, Laura Coates, Tara Welch, Brandy Turner, Trey Welch, Lisa Welch and Tiffany Welch, the great grandmother of Ashleigh Peterson, Carley Peterson, McKenna Koons, Noah Webb, Garrett Lee, Devon Lee, Haley Lee, Winnie Lee, Olivia Johnson and Dylan Johnson, and the sister of Susan Williams of England. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel. She will be greatly missed by all her family.
