Barbara Christene Honeycutt Perry

Barbara Christene Honeycutt Perry, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she worked for many years at American Enka and later retired from Square D. Mrs. Perry was the daughter of the late Blake Honeycutt and Margaret Anne Smith Honeycutt and wife of Don Boyd Perry who died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Bleka Mae Bishop and husband Pete. Surviving are her son, Alvin Perry and wife Cindy of Candler; grandchildren, Jason Perry and wife Becky of Sylva and Stacy Huff and husband Matt of Greenville, NC; brothers, Russell Honeycutt and wife Janice of Candler and Homer Sonny Honeycutt and wife Shelby of Asheville; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Elk Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Bishop officiating.
