Anna Jean Grant Morrow

Anna Jean Grant Morrow, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Preston Grant and Mary Frances Greene Grant. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George Pritchard Morrow who passed away on April 1, 2016; and a brother, Alvin Grant. Mrs. Morrow was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters: Lynne Morrow of Jacksonville, FL, and Ellen Allbritton and husband Dennis of Fairview; son, Richard Morrow and wife Carol of Jacksonville, FL; sisters-in-law: Laura Allison and husband Noel of Buchanan, VA, and Carol Barnett and husband Dillon of Danville, VA; brothers-in-law: David Morrow and wife Debbie of Indianapolis, IN, Paul Morrow and wife Barbara of Buchanan, VA, and Harry Morrow and wife Ellen of Buchanan, VA; grandchildren: Geoff Williams, Travis Williams, Jenna Jennings, Luke Allbritton, and Jason Morrow; 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Royal officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery, Fairview. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
