Becky & Family, I'm so sorry to read of your mom's passing. I first met your mom, you and Jonathan at Emmanuel Lutheran School when I started Kindergarten there. You & I were in the same class. Mrs. Moore was our assistant teacher. I always enjoyed being friends with you and coming to your house. Eventually we moved and I started in the Erwin public school district. I lost touch with you and your family. I had no idea that Jonathan died. I'm terribly sorry. You've been through a lot of sadness and I pray God gives you strength, comfort and peace for the days ahead. We, as Christians, look forward to meeting our family and friends again.

Dear Becky and Thomas,

It has been and honor and a pleasure knowing Lillian for the last 15 or so years. We spent many hours together, in prayerand studing the word. She was like a mother to me in so many many ways. She fed me the word of God and helped me understand it.She was never condeming or critical and loved me unconditonally, without fault. Last year we made many trips to Winston Salem to visit our friend,Nary, as she lay dying from cancer. Lillian prayed the most Beautiful Prayer of Thanksgiving over Mary. She was a Powerful woman of prayer and the Handmaiden of the Most High. I will miss her, but. only for a short time, then I will see her again. Blessed Be the Name of the Lord! He has her now.

Love and Blessing,

My husband and I would like to express our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Lillian. Although we hadnt had the opportunity to meet Lillian personally we do understand the pain of losing one so dear. We would like to share with you comfort we have experienced from Gods word found in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Our Heavenly Father is always there for the broken hearted and those crushed in spirit ( Psalm 34:18) Please take a few moments, share your memories with those who surround you, for the memories shared are the ones most truly cherished, may they bring you comfort and peace as you begin to heal. Take care of yourselves and each other during this very difficult time.
