To the family, Dallas used to come in to Crazy About Books where I worked. He was such a pleasure to have around the store. He was always full of information. He will be surely missed.

(Dal's last poem: [written just after Wade's death on Dec. 13..alone]) They Will Not Die Alone Some things that every Christian Can lay claim to as their own Is they know that Jesus loves them And they will not die alone. As you walk the dark roads of this life You must share His name with all And never fear, He's always near And will answer when you call No matter where life takes you How fearful or dark the roads Jesus' light always precedes you And He'll help you bear the loads So Christian, walk strong and boldly Speak loudly and stand tall It's Jesus' name that you proclaim He will not let you fall And even when death has called you Into that great unknown T'was Jesus' love that carried you And you will not die alone..... Written by Dallas W. Mathews Dec. 19, 2009 Midnight...and not alone (I will always love you, Big Brother)
