My husband and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Jessie. Words are sometimes hard to express at moments like this, but we both truly understand the pain of losing one so dear. We just wanted to shares with you something that has brought us much comfort at a similar time in our lives. Psalm 34:18 reassures us that we are not alone and John 11:14-44 shows us the wonderful experience of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus here on earth, before the very eyes of those he loved. We can only imagine the tears of joy when we too are reunited with our dear loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) Jessie will truly be missed by those who's lives she touched. Remember the experiences you shared together, and learn from them, hold them close to your heart and cherish them. May you find comfort from those who surround you at this very difficult time. Our sincere condolences to all of you.

What fun it was to know Jessie and Fred. They both were so much fun to see every Sunday at church. Such Kidders. Jessie was always a sweet lady and it was fun to talk to her about Berea College and the dances. I know you will miss her but, I'm sure she is dancing up there with the best of them. Keep her memories alive and know that she touched the hearts of many people at New Hope Presbyterian church. Hugs, Myron and Angela Lepro

Amy, Fred and Jessie were very dear to us. They were such a part of the church and our little family of friends. I will never forget picking her up and taking her to church after Fred passed away. Every time we would pass a red light, she would say,"When I was driving we had green lights. Why are they red now?" She was one of the sweetest women that I know. She really loved going to the women's luncheons and just sitting and talking. We really do miss her and I know that you do also. But she is in a better place and she is with Fred now and that is what she wanted. My love to you and the boys and I hope if you come back down, you will come to church to see us. Brenda

Jessie's Family, Like Fred Willie and Jessie Lee we came back to our beloved mountains and joined New Hope Church where they were fixtures. Fred has always been given credit for the fire place in the church narthex and this has been a major attraction for us. We have missed both of them in recent years. I always enjoyed kidding Jessie Lee about being originally from Madison County and about being a student at Asheville High School before it became Lee Edwards High and the late Lee Henry Edwards being her princiupal. Like Ole Joe Clark they were true mountaineers. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to give up our loved ones. The only comfort has to come from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. We are thinking of you and will hold you in our prayers hoping that in some small way it does help to know others do care. Joe and Zunita
