Harold had a heart of gold. He would do anything for the people he loved. He had such a strong and genuine bond with my daughter, Sydney, his great, great granddaughter. It always brought a smile to my face to see them together. We will miss you Harold, but you live on through us. Rest in peace.

My brother and myself could count On Harold or Hab as we called him to pick us up from school every day. He helped my mother take care of us and take us to baseball practice or anywhere we needed to be. He built me a tee when I was about 4 years old and began to teach me about baseball. He took my brother and I to Angel, Dodger, and Giants games many times. I will never forget all the times he would throw batting practice to me after he had worked all night. He taught me to work hard and arrive early. It was all these lessons he taught me about life and baseball that enabled me to attend college, play baseball, and graduate. With out Hab's help I would not be a teacher and coach. I will never forget how he taught me to love, forgive, and say I'm sorry. I know I can speak for my Mother, Brother, and Will that we are forever thankful for all the time we spent with Hab. I am so greatful that Hab got the opportunity to spend some time with my first daughter Sydney over the past few years. I know she will have a place in her heart for "Haro" as she called him. Thank you Hab for all the support and memories we have.
